Receiving only an overall 4.2 out of a possible 5 stars the GE WSSH300G front load washer doesn't get rave reviews from the consumers who have purchased it. Only 81% of those who have purchased this particular model would recommend it to another person. While 81% may seem like a strong vote of confidence for this washer by those who have bought it, there are washers out there with many more reviews published than this model with well over 90% of consumers willing to recommend these models.

As for the positives that people who have bought the GE WSSH300G front load washer commented on in their reviews there is nothing that stands out as anything that isn't typical of the comments concerning front load washers in general. By far the most plentiful comments in the consumer WSSH300G reviews are that this machine is efficient. There are a lot of consumers who cite lower water bills, lower water usage by front load washers. Many also note lower electric bills as a result of running dryers less as the high speed spin cycle gets more water out of clothes before they go into the dryer. Also, among the most commonly mentioned positives of this front load washer is that it runs very quietly. Many reviewers noted that they felt the GE WSSH300G was a good value for the price, a very important differentiator in the crowded front load washer market. The last major theme in the reviews is the capacity, another very typical theme in front load washer reviews.

There are some negative reviews out there for this model, and most of those focus on durability. As is pretty typical most of the issues occurred during and were covered by the warranty on this washer. There were a few reviews that mentioned things getting caught somehow in or around the door seal, or between the drum and where the door closes. This is a new complaint specific to this model of washer, so it bears mentioning that more than one review commented about it. Another issue mentioned in multiple reviews is that the dispenser trays don't get fully cleaned out during the washer's cycle, and must be wiped out or else goo will build up there.

Overall the positive reviews for the GE WSSH300G front load washer vastly outnumber the negatives. While the reviews aren't quite as positive as some other models of front load washer that are available, there is no indication that this washer should not be considered by anyone in the market to purchase themselves a new front load washer. however, if the option is out there to purchase one of the models that has gotten better customer reviews for a similar price, perhaps that would be the way to go.
